All good thing comes to an end and also to our beloved Fashionweek. Fontunately I held my Afterparty at THE BORREL / MODEFABRIEK. The Borrel is the perfect opportunity for suppliers, retailers, stylists and bloggers to mingle and have a drink together.. and what's nicer than having a great conversation about all the advertures during Fashionweek.

ÉTRANGER
Étranger / Lifu Hsiao showed one his best pieces during the show. The as he called Statement Collection was inspired by an epic movie from David Lynch / Twin Peaks: Fire walk with me.
Focussing on the clothes, the models and the Make-up choice you recoqnize the inspiration Lifu had while making this collection. Feminine, Sexy but yet Mysterious. A wearable collection ready to love.

PAULINE VAN DONGEN
KINETIC LANDSCAPES S/S 2012 COLLECTION DURING AIFW
Finally I'm back after a busy week loaded with Fashion, Fashionshows and events during a rainy but still Great Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Now that every Fashionisto/a is sitting, laying or chilling behind their laptops or computers its the right time to pump your heads full of Shows, streetstyles and reports about Fashionweek.
My first show where I was really curious about was the show of PAULINE VAN DONGEN. This 24 Year old Designer famous for her "Organic Science" signature and award winner of "The most Creative Collection" showed her "Kinetic Landscapes S/S 2012 collection to the Dutch Press and Fashion Professionals who visited the show.
As far as she told Pauline was inspired by the abstraction that she discovered in nature’s eroded appearance; her goal was to capture the strength of two powerful elements (air and water ) and their impact on our surroundings. The Cool Shapes and striking Materials really got my eye and I really hope to hear and see soo much more from this Great Designer.

BOUTYQ PRESENTS
Today I was invited for the 5th edition of BOUTYQ at Dylan Hotel Amsterdam where they presented the work and S/S 2012 collections of 3 great Designers ; FRANCISCO VAN BENTHUM, UNCONDITIONAL and JEROEN VAN TUYL.
Every season BOUTYQ gives different Fashion Designers and upcoming Beauty artists the chance to share their passion and talents to the Fashion Professionals. A perfect mix between Beauty and Fashion crossing each others way.
Unfortunately it was raining and the show was outside so I was soaky wet after taken all those pictures. Even my umbrella couldn't protect me against the rain. After all it gave the show an extra touch. Enjoy..

Sisters Truus and Riet Spijkers are the Netherlands most notable fashion siblings, known for their graphic, elegant designs.
This season Truus and Riet Spijkers will be opening Amsterdam International Fashion Week with their S/S 2012 Collection where we are VERY curious about.
Until now we have to love the wonderful pieces they created for this season at Maison de Bonnetrie where they presenting there work for the public who are attending DOWNTOWN.
