DENNIS DIEM F/W 12/13

Corsets, Black and White and Reptile skin where the main items during the fabulous Fall / Winter 2012/13 collection of Dennis Diem.

Inspired by the movie "THE ASPHALT JUNGLE" starring Marilyn Monroe in the late 50's Dennis created a look similar to that era but in a 2012 kinda way. The nicest handmade dresses and toucan bone heels were running down the catwalk and I was quite surprised seeing those models doing their thing on those killer heels. It was absolutely amazing. A show to rembember !!

Dennis Diem’s growing reputation is based on the way his corsets flatter and enhance the female figure.. “A woman’s posture is transformed as soon as the body is laced”, he says. High-heeled shoes are fundamental to his work for the same reason. “High-heeled shoes have the power to instantly change a woman’s aura”, he adds.
