Fairy tales do exist and even if it lasts no longer than two days you still remember it ever after. You might wondering where I'm talking about. It started with a prince Willem Alexander and a beautiful princess Maxima who became king and queen after the previous queen abdicated the throne. The people of the Netherlands were full of joy and so was I when I received an invitation from Vogue to attend their organised Queens Ball in the heart of Amsterdam. Everyone was looking beautiful from head to toe. Women in Jan Taminiau and Claes Iversen and men in their tailored suits. At that moment Hotel The Grand was the place where all the royal magic happened. The champagne was flowing heavily and through all the joy and laughter the new issue of Vogue appeared.
